  Took a £220 pair of Barker brogues here to be repaired. Id holed the sole (including cork layer) after everyday work wear. £85 Came back almost better than new. Buffed the scuffs and they have a nice patinered character now. Like it says on their tickets. A shoe worth wearing Is worth repairing. That's 2018 work shoes sorted! See you in another year...

  One of the worst trader I have dealt with. I came to redo the outsoles of two of my nicest pair of shoes. To make it quick, the job was done on one of the pairs but did not manage to do it on the other one and simply destroy them (He gave me the shoes back opened on the outside and therefore could not thought of wearing them anymore, they are just ruined). To give you idea, this pair was worth 165 pounds and the artisan did not seem to feel too bad about it. Those was my favorite and work shoes and I cannot buy them anymore. He simply said that it was due to my shoes being overused. Knowing that he would never repaid me for the price of the shoes, I asked if he could at least offer me the work he did on my other pair which he refused straight away and ended up after 40 minutes of discussion giving me a 5 pounds discount..
  To make it quick, I strongly advised customers to go to another shoe repair store as I think this man is truly incompetent and unpleasant.
